In May Macau’s Transport Bureau confirmed that the city’s existing casino shuttle bus services would not be allowed to cross the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge. But the bureau said at the time that it was discussing with the Macau casino concessionaires the possibility of the companies running a joint shuttle bus service with two routes: from the Macau boundary crossing of the HKZM Bridge.
HONG KONG - ZHUHAI - MACAO BRIDGE. Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge (HZMB) being situated at the waters of Lingdingyang of Pearl River Estuary, is a mega-size sea crossing linking the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR), Zhuhai City of Guangdong Province and Macao Special Administrative Region. The project started on 15th December 2009.
Using bridge shuttle bus through the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge is not too complicated. All you need to do is to find a way to bring yourself to the HZMB Hong Kong Port and then pass Immigration and Customs (leaving Hong Kong). The 24-hour bridge shuttle bus is waiting right there on the same floor in the restricted area. It will take you to the restricted area of Macau Port on the other.
A Hong Kong fire station-cum-ambulance depot with about 100 firemen started operations on the artificial island of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge on Thursday. Except for attending to accidents on the bridge, the fire station will also cover some emergencies at Hong Kong International Airport and AsiaWorld-Expo, as the station is located nearby, according to local media reports.
The new bridge is the easiest and most enjoyable way to travel between Macau and Hong Kong. Definitely recommend. 1. Convenient- it is so much easier than taking Cotai Water jet. 2. Service- the ferry staff are rude, not so with the shuttle staff 3. Inexpensive- it's less.
